Every once in a while you have that moment when you realize you are going in the wrong direction. When you stop and think why am I doing this ? Is it worth it ? I am beginning to feel the same.
As those who follow me know I was (notice the past tense?) into amazon associates program but now I am no longer sure of it. Its not the money thats bothering me. There is a lot of money in this and there are many who have left their day job to become a full time amazon affiliate marketers. You will find many success stories splattered across the warrior forum.
The thing that is really bothering me is – Why am I doing this ? Am I really contributing to the internet. Am I making internet a better place to surf ? Am I helping people out there ?
These questions keep haunting me until recently I found a problem annoying enough to start a new project. I am like many others obsessed with technology. When I say everything, I mean everything. Be it news, products launches, participating in various forums and so on. So whats the problem you ask ?
It is scattered all around the place. If I am looking for say product and price comparison, I visit gdgt.com which is a resourceful site for anybody looking to learn about any particular product, its prices and pretty much everything else. If I am looking for news there are few places like cnet and techcrunch. There are other sites that provides coupons and deals. But here lies the problem. I have to keep jumping from one site to another, subscribe to multiple rss feeds and receive multiple emails in my inbox to satisfy my hunger for more.
I dont think I am the only one who thinks this way. There must be others who are tired of subscribing to multiple sources and receiving tons of emails and stuff in their inbox.
This is when I thought of developing my source of information. A site that will cover everything from news, reviews to product and price comparisons and everything else in between.
This is when I registered TAC – Take A Click.
I have closed all other projects and devoting hundred percent of my time to developing this resource site. Hope I would be able to live upto my own expectations. You are all welcome to follow me as I undertake this journey.
